ABOUT US
WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT CONNECTION?
Our agency was founded because our executives had years of corporate experience yet were looking for more personal relationships and connections with their clients. Whether it’s addressing the ‘elephant in the room’ and the issue no one is talking about or figuring out how a brand can make an impact on consumers with integrity, our agency brings solutions to every opportunity. As a result of the multicultural work we’ve done since 2016, our agency has found a home and a purpose. We’ve seen the effect on consumers' lives when connected to brands that transform their lives through a product, service, or initiative. The work we do makes a difference – and matters – in the lives of real people.
Carlos Sapene
CEO AND CO-FOUNDER, CREATIVE & TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
THE INNOVATOR AND STRATEGIST
As the CEO, Chief Creative, and Chief Technology Officer, Carlos uses technology and his prior experience to drive strategic communication strategies and business growth for Wicked Bionic clients in industries including government, entertainment, legal, energy, and non-profit. Previously, Carlos created digital experiences in entertainment and tech for nearly 20 years, and his ideas made digital marketing leaders out of E!, NBCUniversal, Style Network, and Bravo.
His expertise lies in a highly-developed understanding of the human brain's workings and what it takes to create behavioral change. Carlos’ strategies are innovative and informed, developed to reach and engage any audience with deeply effective messaging.
One of his many talents is that he's built IT infrastructures from scratch, understands them thoroughly, and can easily navigate complex systems for client projects. He says one of the most common mistakes in marketing is making assumptions about personas which is why he has trained the agency team on research and data best practices. Having lived in Caracas, London, and Paris, his international experiences have helped him understand and appreciate the nuances of human psychology.
Dana C. Arnett
CEO AND CO-FOUNDER
THE QUALITY GURU AND PASSIONATE CONNECTOR
DEI Certificate, Cornell University
- Awarded 2022 and 2023 WBE Supplier of the Year from WBEC-West
- Awarded 2021 LGBTQ+ Supplier of the Year from San Diego Gas & Electric
Dana Arnett is dedicated to navigating cultural differences and believes that human connection is the only way to overcome cultural barriers. After more than 30 years of entertainment industry business experience, where she delivered some 6,000 TV shows for global audiences, Dana gained a deep awareness and understanding of the psychological effects due to industry discrimination. Ultimately she retired from the entertainment industry to build an agency whose foundation promotes equity and inclusion internally and externally.
To grow in understanding of diversity and inclusion best practices, Dana has held a Certification from Cornell University's Diversity and Inclusion program since 2021. She also serves on the ScholarBridge board of the Fulfillment Fund, a non-profit dedicated to providing college education to under-resourced communities.
In her personal life, Dana loves to travel, particularly to Italy, and is immensely grateful for a full life in Los Angeles with her partner Suzanne and their rescue dog Lucca.
